We were honoured to be asked to design an anthology of Jo Burt’s comic strips detailing the adventures of Mint, a mountain-biking sheep, that have amused and delighted readers for over three decades. This is the first time they have ever been collated in a book.
Published by Isola Press, the 192-page softcover book is printed on premium uncoated paper, featuring a new six-page comic strip, introduction and commentary by Jo Burt and full-colour illustrations. Available to purchase at isolapress.com/shop/mint-sauce
Introducing 'Baarial' typeface... We crafted a custom typeface based on Jo's hand-drawn lettering, especially for the book, including a special ligature set, this was one of the first jobs.
To accompany the book we created a limited edition kiss-cut sticker sheet featuring sixty classic Mint stickers including some new originals.
For the book pre-launch we created a teaser social media campaign, followed by the promotion of two book launch events.
